These are my memories, the way I remember them. Not in chronological order, just written down as they come to mind.

Locked IN...Not OUT
When we lived down in the old house, the bathroom used to be a bedroom. When we put the bathroom in we just put one of those hook and eye locks on the inside of the bathroom door. BUT...the door also had it's original lock from when it was a bedroom, but it was on the other side (I know not why). Anyway...one day we started to leave to go somewhere and we were all fussing and feuding about general stuff when you get ready to go somewhere and I said to everybody..."go get in the car, I have to use the bathroom and I will be right out". I went in the bathroom and kinda (no, not kinda, REALLY) slammed the door. When I got ready to go out, the door was locked from the other side. I hollered and pounded and hollered but like all good family members, they were sitting out in the car and couldn't hear me. So, I opened the bathroom window and crawled out. Hated to do that, it was about a 6 foot drop, but I was young and stout and got through fine. Fared better than the rest of the family when I got out to the car, although they were perfectly innocent....they couldn't hear anything from the car, and was wondering what in the world was taking me so long. They (mostly Bob) heard about it anyway. Back in my fiery days.
I DID have a quicker, hotter temper back in those days, if anyone will believe that or not...haha
